Credit: HJBC / Shutterstock Arinco has won Microsoft’s Partner of the Year accolade for Australia as part of the vendor’s global partner awards for 2024. According to Microsoft, its Partner of the Year Awards acknowledge “outstanding successes and innovations” from its partners from over 100 countries across a range of categories and industries, with award recipients selected on their “commitment to customers, “commitment to customers, the impact of their solutions and their exemplary use of Microsoft technologies”. Chris Padgett, Arinco CEO, said this award highlighted its work with approximately 200 small, medium and corporate government and enterprise customers. “Our partnership with Microsoft has been instrumental in driving AI adoption and accelerating digital transformation. This continued success would not have been possible without the efforts of our incredible crew and the support of our valued customers,” he said. Other local award winners include Rapid Circle for Employee Experience and Data#3 Limited for Surface Reseller in the Modern Work and Experience. Brad College, CEO and managing director of Data#3, said its award was its second in two consecutive years. “Our participation as a select few in the Early Access Program for Microsoft 365 co-pilot represents our ongoing commitment to ensuring our customers can utilise cutting-edge technology and insights to help deliver their digital future,” he said. Across the Tasman, the New Zealand partner award was given to Aware, which deployed its Azure OpenAI Accelerator with a customer in the aviation industry.
