Dicker Data opens new market segment with Adobe distribution win

ASX-listed Dicker Data has been appointed a distributor for Adobe in both Australia and New Zealand, effective immediately.

The selection follows what was described as a “rigorous” distribution review undertaken by digital media solutions specialist Adobe throughout late 2023.

The deal delivered an advanced suite of products that would unlock a new solution segment for Dicker Data and its network of over 12,000 partners across A/NZ, the ASX-listed distributor said.

Executive director and chief operating officer Vlad Mitnovetski described the win as a significant milestone in the growth of the company’s software business.

“Adobe has recognised the value that our people, our marketplace and our wider organisation can bring to their well-established ecosystem and we’re committed to helping them accelerate their business in Australia and New Zealand,” he said.

“As the largest software distributor in A/NZ, our marketplace and digital partner experience continues to be a strong focus for us. We’re investing for the future with Adobe by deploying new features and digital capabilities that will make it easier for partners to track, manage and transact their Adobe business.”

Adobe’s solutions were a complementary fit to several of Dicker Data’s existing lines of business, with technology certifications, integrations and alliances with key brands such as Microsoft, HP, Lenovo, Dell Technologies and more.

The Adobe appointment is also in line with Dicker Data’s commitment to continually evolve its vendor and solution line-up to help partners take advantage of growth opportunities with end-user organisations.

Last month, Dicker Data announced a 12.5 per cent lift in profitability on the back of increased revenue.
