Strengthening the leadership in A/NZ. Credit: Rodney Hobbs (Rapid Circle) Rapid Circle has appointed Rodney Hobbs as the chief technology officer of its Australia and New Zealand business. This strategic move aims to drive Rapid Circle into its next growth phase, aligning with market innovation and clients’ evolving needs. Hobbs brings nearly 30 years of IT enterprise experience, having held executive technical roles with organisations such as Wipro, ServiceNow, DXC, Fujitsu and Toll Group. His deep experience across all aspects of the technology industry and his strong track record in enterprise sales and solutions within and adjacent to the Microsoft eco-system positions him as a key asset for Rapid Circle. Hobbs is known for his passion, innovation, and transformation capabilities, which will drive Rapid Circle’s A/NZ business forward. “The executives I talk to all share the same challenges: driving agility, achieving operational efficiency, and uplifting experiences both inside and outside the enterprise,” he said. “I am excited about Rapid Circle as we are set up to accelerate our growth and deliver real customer outcomes in the ever-changing business landscape.” Hobbs will be based in Melbourne, lead the technical direction of Rapid Circle ANZ, and work closely with the leadership team. Earlier in July, Cassandra Ashworth joined Rapid Circle as the new A/NZ managing director after Stewart Bairstow’s departure. At the time, Rapid Circle founder and global CEO Harold Punter said the company’s expansion was booming, with recent acquisitions like vNEXT. “Given customers’ demands for Microsoft-based AI and cloud solutions to advance productivity and improve business outcomes, we needed to bring in experienced leadership who excels at customer solutions, delivering business transformation and critical outcomes in today’s economic climate,” Punter said.
