Synnex Australia is expanding its education and unified communications (UC) portfolio through a distribution agreement with ScreenBeam, a provider of wireless presentation solutions.

ScreenBeam’s solutions are aimed at classrooms and meeting spaces, allowing users to wirelessly annotate content on in-room displays.

Deniz Kilicci, product director at Synnex, said ScreenBeam’s solutions enable sharing and collaboration across various devices, including Windows, Android and Apple systems.

According to the distributor, the deal will see it will introduce ScreenBeam’s line of wireless presentation solutions designed to streamline content sharing and collaboration into its portfolio.

The distributor said the deal would help it bolster its presence in the K-12 education and UC spaces, claiming the two market segments as being “underserved”.

ScreenBeam’s range of wireless presentation solutions is scheduled for release by Synnex in the third quarter of 2024.

Johnny Lin, ScreenBeam senior director of sales for Asia Pacific (APAC), added that Synnex’s expertise and market presence make it the “ideal partner” as the vendor moves further into the Australian market.
