Credit: Nicholas Gee (Cloud Ready Solutions) Cloud Ready Solutions has signed a distribution agreement with application recovery platform vendor Nimesa for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Nimesa offers Amazon Web Services (AWS) -native backup and advanced, air-gapped cross-region full stack disaster recovery solutions. According to Cloud Ready, the agreement will enhance its portfolio and provide clients with tools to protect their AWS environments. Nicholas Gee, Cloud Ready technical director, said Nimesa’s platform “perfectly” aligns with the distributor’s business mission of protecting business data. “Nimesa automates testing, provides instant recovery of VMs and introduces compute and storage cost savings by managing VMs that don’t need to exist 24×7. It can power down, back up, delete and restore VMs automatically,” he said. “This platform provides a comprehensive, secure, and cost-effective approach to disaster recovery and data protection within the AWS environment”. Tapesh Goyal, Nimesa CEO and co-founder, added that the pair will work together and aim to “deliver the highest level of data protection and operational resilience”. Cloud Ready’s agreement with Nimesa comes close to a year after it signed a deal with backup and disaster recovery vendor Nakivo for Australia, the Pacific Islands and Fiji.
