Banking on the strong affiliation with Microsoft, HP is citing the latest Windows 11 release as a big opportunity  and its plans to work closely with partners to deliver the benefits.

HP is already enabling the age of AI through its advanced computing solutions such as Z by HP data science solutions.

Vice President and Managing Director at HP ANZ, Brad Pulford explained more broadly, the ability to run Gen AI locally will change what a PC is and what it can do, laying out that running AI on a device has several advantages.

These advantages include improved latency, security and privacy protection as well as lower costs with Pulford citing that some companies who complement cloud investments with large-scale deployments of AI on edge/local devices could reduce cost by up to 80 per cent.

With the AI PC being commercially available during 2024, Pulford said this will drive PC refresh and expand the market opportunities for partners across industries.

“We believe the overall PC category growth rate can double over the next three years,” Pulford said.

“AI PC is revolutionary for the industry and this will continue to evolve into 2025, HP is committed to helping our partners keep up with the ever evolving landscape and upskill them with the necessary skills to meet the growing demand for AI solutions.”

HP has maintained a partnership with Dicker Data for more than 30 years, creating a strong relationship with its values and the way it conducts business as both are intrinsically aligned, and is a diamond sponsor for this year’s TechX event.

“We will continue to prioritise making it easy for partners to work with us, by providing them with competitive solutions, support and resources through our Amplify platform, dual marketing assets and tailored account management,” Pulford said.

The Amplify Impact program helps partners along their sustainability journey and addresses customer requirements.

“HP Amplify Impact assists partners with resources to identify gaps and guidance for achieving sustainability goals, highlighting the growing significance of ESG strategies,” Pulford said. “HP’s sustainability resources drive preference and impact across climate action, human rights and digital equity.”

HP also offers a Future Ready AI MasterClass, which is an AI partner training and certification program powered by HP University.

The program offers tailored role-based training for sales representatives, account managers, and technical consultants, equipping HP Amplify partners with the necessary skills to meet the growing demand for AI solutions.

This biggest priority for HP in 2025 is banking on its customer first approach and understanding the outcome and goals that are achievable.

“When we integrate our technology and services/solutions with the value our distributors bring and the individual partner capabilities, we know we will create better customer outcomes,” Pulford said.

Besides AI PCs, HP is also launching new office printer laser devices, with Pulford emphasising its continued focus on being the most secure printer vendor and increasing its sustainable printing solutions.

“HP continually adapts to the changing enterprise landscape, always innovating to meet customer needs,” Pulford said.

“HP is a values driven company, one born out of the belief that companies should do more than just make a profit. They should make the world a better place.

“Our efforts in climate action, human rights, and digital equity prove that we are doing everything in our power to make that so.”
