Services provider Interactive is assisting data and analytics company illion with the migration of its digital technology and security infrastructure to a public cloud.

The latest project is an extension of Interactive’s partnership with illion, which started over eight years ago, initially with hardware maintenance support. Since then, Interactive has served as illion’s trusted technology partner through infrastructure changes and digital transformation initiatives.

The data and analytics company’s ongoing investment in bureau modernisation has seen it deliver cloud-enabled technology to clients since 2016 and continually shift services to the cloud.

In 2018, Interactive helped illion migrate its data centres to a private cloud and is now playing a key role in its modernisation program to uplift its overall technology and security stack.

As a result, Interactive is now supporting illion’s migration to a public cloud, strengthening its position in the financial services landscape.

illion CIO Jesse Dumoff said migrating to the public cloud will allow the data and analytics company to scale up quickly and offer higher availability, enhanced disaster recovery and security measures to its customers.

“In finance, risk mitigation is key to success and digital transformation projects are no exception. With a rigorous focus on security, availability and performance, we’re aiming to minimise the impact on the customer experience at all stages of the project,” Dumoff said.

Interactive account lead for illion Christoper Thomas added the provider will work alongside the data and analytics company “during every step of their transformation, helping our partner to ensure a smooth transition and help alleviate unnecessary stressors”.

“It doesn’t matter what the specific technology solution is – as illion’s technology partner, we’re invested in the journey,” he said.
