Generative artificial intelligence platform provider Kore.ai has appointed Richard Oldham as head of pre-sales and technology for Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Sydney, Oldham will support business growth in the newly created position by providing pre-sales customer technical support and working closely with channel partners.

He will also work with Kore.ai’s global technical teams to facilitate skill sharing and training, coordinate regional projects and support the company’s program for a unified global technical support strategy.

Oldham has more than two decades of IT industry experience, during which time he has developed and supported a broad portfolio of technology solutions to address business outcomes directly. He has worked in organisations ranging from small start-ups to multinational companies.

Most recently, he was senior solutions consultant at Huawei Technologies, where he drove cross-portfolio solution selling through expert consultative support on Huawei’s portfolio of enterprise products and services.

He also worked for Cisco Systems for more than 15 years in several senior software and engineering roles.

Oldham was responsible for working with local, regional and global teams to orchestrate the delivery of repeatable and scalable business offerings across engineering, marketing, sales, services and partner teams.

Paul Rilstone, vice president of A/NZ at Kore.ai, said it has a “growing base of partners in the region recognised for their innovation and performance”.

“I am excited to have Richard on board to help build on our mutual success and market momentum as we approach FY25 and beyond.”
