A dynamic assembly of tech titans and experts will delineate fast-moving technologies such as AI and cyber security and how they will shape the IT ecosystem, taking centre stage as thought leaders and keynote speakers at EDGE 2024 at the Royal Pines on the Gold Coast 28 – 30 July.

Chronicling the evolution from both technological and business viewpoints, the discourse will span from innovative work methodologies leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, to exploring the cyber security terrain, and the sought-after partner services landscape, profitability and skills necessary to win.

The exclusive insights will headline EDGE 2024, hosting the most influential business leaders in technology across A/NZ, led by EDGE Ambassador and founder Susan Searle.

“The content line-up for this year’s EDGE  is unparalleled,” said Searle. We recognise that partners’ time away from the office must be worthwhile and needs to yield essential ROI for business strategy and growth. EDGE 2024 speakers’ diverse points of view, and technology and business leadership, will mean partners leave EDGE refreshed and inspired for second half success and profitability.”

Key speakers during this year’s event include thought leadership sessions delivered by Arctic Wolf senior vice president of security services, Mark Manglicmot who will dive into cyber security insights sharper than a hacker’s best code.

The role of marketplaces and the evolution of selling from a partner and a distribution point of view, will be dissected by AWS’ A/NZ public sector head of channels and alliances, Andrew Winter.

CrowdStrike CTO Fabio Fratucello will take partners into AI with cyber security, navigating the latest threats and innovations, exploring the pivotal role for partners and where to skill up next and Microsoft A/NZ SMB channel leader, Brad Clarke will bring a unique perspective on how partners can leverage AI to empower businesses to achieve their full potential.

NextDC CEO Craig Scroggie will share his ground-breaking insights on the key global megatrends like AI which are driving Australia’s digital economy and Ingram Micro senior VP and country chief executive for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) Tim Ament will also grace the stage.

This is all supported with a keynote speaker line up featuring global digitisation expert Nancy Rademaker who will deliver her vision on how technology advancements such as artificial intelligence empower businesses to embrace innovation and stay ahead of the curve.

National AI Centre director, Stela Solar will discuss how leaders can use AI in innovative and positive ways particularly in relation to the ethics of AI and where the opportunities lay within the business landscape and Mantel Group’s Emma Bromet will focus on how to build an AI practice.

The creator of Australia’s first technology unicorn, David Shein, will share his knowledge based on three decades in founding, mentoring and investing in start-up businesses.

KPMG partner of mergers and acquisitions Dan Teper will dissect the M&A landscape probing selling, merging, or acquiring, and how channel organisations can ensure the transformation is seamless for both its staff and clients.

Founder and CEO of Unstoppable Leadership, Rema Lolas will be headlining the diversity and inclusion (D&I) session, bringing together key female figures from across the channel. The D&I discussion will help industry leaders shape the power of maintaining and creating a diverse and inclusive leadership culture.

More industry trailblazers will be in the spotlight as part of our panel sessions that will focus on What Keeps Business Leaders up at Night; Building an AI Practice; What CIOs and CISOs Want from Partners; Building and Monetising a Cyber Security Practice.

This will all be underscored with key exclusive insights delivered by Tech Research Asia industry analyst Mark Iles focusing on the channel’s short and medium-term opportunities, uncovering what makes end-users tick on both sides of the Tasman.

Iles will deliver insights into the purchasing patterns of organisations, key solutions and investment areas.

Immediate partner priorities will also be outlined from a business and technology standpoint, documenting commercial best practices, customer acquisition tactics and financial models of success.

In addition, findings will be further segmented to provide a New Zealand-specific research breakout housing data points and insight during a dedicated two hour session that will also feature a keynote from entrepreneur, Kendra Ross.

The New Zealand specific session will also feature a host of panelist talent that will dissect the AI Frontier and its Business Opportunities.
