Credit: Remo van Polfliet (Leader) Leader has bolstered its audio visual (AV) and unified communications (UC) expertise with the hiring of Remo van Polfliet as national AV and UC presales manager. Entering into the new role with over 35 years of experience in the electrical, AV and UC industries across Australia and Europe, van Polfliet will deliver presales engineering for complex AV and UC solutions through the business’ channel, according to Leader’s director of enterprise and marketing, Ben Klason. “Remo will drive significant changes in the team, process and service delivery to exceed customer expectations. In addition to this, he will manage our support team and launch our new professional services which will help resellers nationwide to deliver configuration, staging, delivery, install and post-sales support to partners,” Klason said. He enters the role after working at Aatrox Communications for a year. Prior to that, he worked at Allow Computer Products both before and after being acquired by Leader. “I’m very excited to be a part of Leader’s vision to be an exemplary supply partner for our customers, where my decades of experience in services, AV and telecommunications is fully utilised to lead the team,” van Polfliet said. Leader added in a statement that van Polfliet’s leadership with the distributor’s professional services “reinforces our focus on delivering comprehensive AV and UC solutions that empower our partners to achieve more”.
