Multimedia Technology (MMT) has added advanced networking solutions vendor Alta Labs to its portfolio in the Australian market.

Based in US, Alta provides enterprise networking products, such as access points and Ethernet switches available in eight, 16 and 24-port options.

Alta’s products also feature the vendor’s single wireless network SSID solution AltaPass, enabling customisable network settings, content filtering and multi-password authentication.

In a statement, MMT said the combination of both itself and Alta were well-positioned to cater to small- to medium-sized businesses (SMB), prosumers and managed service providers (MSP).

“Alta Labs’ networking solutions align hand-in-hand with MMT’s commitment to offering cutting-edge technology and compliments out our networking category,” said Mark Eichler, MMT purchasing manager.

The distributor added that the partnership with Alta expands its product portfolio, joining the ranks of D-Link, Cisco, Netcomm and Synology.

MMT’s arrangement with Alta comes months after it signed an agreement with critical infrastructure provider Vertiv in February for its full product portfolio.
