More acquisitions on the cards Credit: Brisbane City | adinaolteanu180 | 2467655173 Brisbane-based OneTeam IT (OTI) has absorbed MSD Information Technology into its operations to strengthen its value-add and customer support. “MSD joining OneTeam aligns perfectly with our mission to offer comprehensive IT solutions. This union enables us to deliver even more robust and innovative services to our clients,” OTI managing director Peter Sanderson said. “OneTeam IT was approached by a trusted advisor representing MSD, who gauged our interest in acquiring the company. Given our familiarity with MSD’s strong reputation, the due diligence and negotiations progressed swiftly, culminating in a mutually beneficial agreement.” MSD will complement OTI’s expertise in managed IT services, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. The MSD brand will be integrated into OTI to ensure a unified and cohesive branding strategy. Sanderson added that the acquisition will provide clients with access to an expanded range of services and a stronger support network, with four talented MSD personnel coming on board. This also includes managing director Don Brown, who will be part of the team for the next 12 months. He will bring his expertise and leadership to ensure a smooth transition and further opportunities for extended collaboration. The integration process is expected to be completed in the next three months. “Together, we can deliver superior solutions that drive business efficiency, security and technological advancement,” MSD managing director Don Brown said. OneTeam IT was formulated in 2021 following the acquisition of Sundata and Team Computing, with more acquisitions on the cards as OTI plans to further strengthen or expand into new but complementary offerings in the IT space.
