Synnex Australia and New Zealand has expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud through integrating the Google Cloud Security portfolio.

This marks a significant milestone in Synnex’s collaboration with Google Cloud, unlocking new opportunities for partners and MSSPs to tap into an AI-driven intelligence-led approach to cyber security.

Synnex partners can now propel their enterprise cyber security practice by leveraging the Google Cloud Security suite including Chronicle Security Operations.

“With this expansion, our partners can distinguish themselves by delivering enterprise advanced security offerings with capabilities in threat detection, investigation, and response,” Synnex A/NZ head of cloud Kuo Yoong said.

Synnex will provide comprehensive Google Cloud Security training and certifications, fostering increased channel engagements and ensuring the sustained growth of the Google ecosystem.

“In the face of the rapidly expanding global threat landscape, this collaboration comes at a critical time as we remain steadfast in ensuring our partners have access to a highly reliable security platform,” Synnex A/NZ CEO Arthur Gimisis said.

“Google Cloud Security facilitates the implementation of a modern approach to threat intelligence, ensuring you can deploy advanced security strategies without compromising on the volume of data involved.”

Synnex’s diverse range of services within the Google ecosystem includes Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Google Workspace for Education, Chrome management services, Chrome devices, and complementary SaaS cloud offerings.

These offerings span data analytics, infrastructure, and cyber solutions providing Synnex partners with a comprehensive source for a myriad of advanced services.

This is further backed by Synnex’s support for Google Cloud security partners through an extensive education and channel enablement program to help them build their Google Cloud service offerings, reach a broader customer base, and achieve quicker time-to-market.

“We’re pleased that Synnex will bring Google Cloud’s critical cybersecurity capabilities to more partners throughout Australia and New Zealand,” Google Cloud APJ head of security partners and managed security services Sandeep Patil said.

“With cybersecurity as a top concern for global organisations, Google Cloud’s advanced security operations tools complemented by our partner’s adaptive offers and services, can help strengthen their security posture against fast-moving threats. We look forward to accelerating our partnership with Synnex.”
