To work closer with the vendor. Credit: TippaPatt / Shutterstock Uplinx Advanced Services has partnered with AiRISTA to work closer with the software development and manufacturing vendor. AiRISTA targets the real-time location services (RTLS) market, providing asset tracking solutions via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technologies. Previously operating as a reseller of AiRISTA products since 2014 via an unnamed distributor, Uplinx said the direct partnership is anticipated to result in an optimised supply chain for both itself and its clients. ARN understands that the systems integrator’s (SI) decision to partner directly with AiRISTA was due to wanting to establish a more direct relationship with the vendor. It still remains partnered with the distributor for other vendors’ solutions. The partnership is also expected to see the SI engage more closely with AiRISTA leadership to provide a direct link for feedback and insight to its software and product teams. Other benefits Uplinx claims include the ability to influence new product developments, features, functionality and roadmaps that are catered to the Australian market in conjunction with the SI’s own insights, faster response and fault resolution times by removing a middleman and increased efficiency of the procurement process. All of this aligns with Uplinx’s current focus on delivering RTLS accuracy, the company added.
