Critical infrastructure provider Vertiv has launched an AI Hub, providing resources for partners, customers and other interested individuals access to information, reference designs and resources.

Accessible via a website, the AI Hub features white papers, industry research, tools, and power and cooling portfolios for retrofit and greenfield applications. The reference design library also demonstrates scalable liquid cooling and power infrastructure to support current and future chip sets from 10-140kW per rack.

LuLu Shiraz, senior director for Australia and New Zealand for Vertiv, said as AI takes centre stage in every CIO’s set of priorities, the world of IT integration and infrastructure management are suddenly merging and it has become essential to apply the right cooling and power solutions to keep AI operating.

“To navigate this complexity, organisations are turning to their system integrator partners to build and maintain the system operation in their server room and data centres,” she said. “Our work with the chip manufacturers, such as NVIDIA and Intel, has given us the expertise to help channel partners stay on the pulse of growing AI requirements.”

According to Shiraz, any channel partner who works with their customers to support a particular business requirement, especially AI and high-density compute environments, will benefit from the hub, as it will add another capability to their already established service offering.

“Our aim is to help IT integrators [become] well versed in the overall infrastructure conversation with their client because AI has truly brought those two worlds together,” she added.

In February, Vertiv partnered with MMT for the Australian distribution of its entire IT portfolio. The power systems and cooling specialist opted to work solely with MMT, having recently ceased its contract with former IT distributor Ingram Micro in July 2023.
