Cloud Ready Solutions has signed a distribution agreement with IT infrastructure vendor StoneFly for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

The agreement will see Cloud Ready distribute StoneFly’s storage solutions, including its recently released Green Petabyte Archive (GPA) Storage product.

In a statement, the distributor said the addition of StoneFly adds to its portfolio of products, which is backed up by pre- and post-sales support.

“Anyone who has visited a data centre is aware of the immense amount of power consumed, heat generated, and the necessary air conditioning required to maintain such an environment,” said Cloud Ready owner Nicholas Gee.

“The GPA 4.0 system dramatically reduces these factors by actively powering down while not in use, aligning with our mission to provide eco-friendly and cost-effective solutions. The addition of airgapped and immutable storage features ensures our clients can safeguard their critical data against evolving cyber threats.”

Cloud Ready’s agreement comes less than a week after it signed a deal with application recovery platform vendor Nimesa, which was also for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
