After spending a couple of decades in various roles in the technology industry in Australia and abroad, Rema Lolas noticed a desire to help individuals realise and achieve their full potential.

“My goal and my mission is to help people get out of their own way so that they can achieve what they want to achieve without being overwhelmed, burnt out and all of the narratives that really hold us back,” Lolas said.

As the founder and CEO of leadership training and development company, Unstoppable Leadership, Lolas said the program focuses on bridging the gap to creating a high-performance leader and helping teams. She uses her own experience throughout her career to pinpoint what drives her ambition with Unstoppable Leadership.

“We address what’s happening for the individual and create real change. For teams, we look at specific attributes, dynamics and research what’s happening within the team’s environment so they can flourish,” she said. “It’s all about helping people and in turn, helping companies grow.

“I’m a big believer that if it doesn’t light you up, it burns you out.”

During EDGE 2024: The New Frontier, Lolas will be sharing this leading a diversity and inclusion (DE&I) session held at 7am on Tuesday 30 July, bringing together key female figures across the channel. Attendees should mark the session in the calendar.

The session will dive into the essence of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and understand how these elements are not merely buzzwords but essential aspects of effective leadership. Learn through inspiring stories and practical insights how authenticity and unity can revolutionise teams, encourage innovation, and cultivate environments in which everyone can prosper.

Spearheaded by EDGE Ambassador and founder Susan Searle, the DE&I discussion will help industry leaders shape the power of maintaining and creating a diverse and inclusive leadership culture.

“We are embracing important modern workplace strategies like sustainability and diversity and inclusion, alongside technology and business presentations and discussions,” Searle said.

“Companies thrive with diverse teams and leadership and D&I is a driving force for growth and increasing competitive edge.”

EDGE 2024: The New Frontier will be held Sunday 28 July to 30 July at the RACV Royal Pines resort on the Gold Coast, the Australian and New Zealand (A/NZ)-specific conference will unpack how fast-growth technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and data and an evolving cyber threat landscape are providing huge opportunities for the channel and what business leaders should do to keep ahead of the curve.

Attendees can expect the modern EDGE 2024 to host a comprehensive line-up of technology industry influencers and trailblazers including global digitisation expert Nancy Rademaker, National AI Centre director, Stela Solar and the creator of Australia’s first technology unicorn, David Shein.

Founder, investor and advisor Kendra Ross will also share her entrepreneurial journey and what’s in store for the New Zealand cyber security market and beyond.

This will all be underscored with key exclusive insights delivered by Tech Research Asia industry analyst Mark Iles focusing on the channel’s short and medium-term opportunities, uncovering what makes end-users tick on both sides of the Tasman.

Delivered in tandem with exclusive EDGE Research, Iles will focus insights into the purchasing patterns of organisations, key solution and investment areas.

On the flip side, immediate partner priorities will also be outlined from a business and technology standpoint, documenting commercial best practice, customer acquisition tactics and financial models of success.

Unique to the trans-Tasman technology industry, EDGE Research is designed to offer the clearest indication as to whether the ecosystem is aligned with the end-user market.
