UK-based software developer Endava has brought in new leaders into the Australian arm of its business following the integration of acquisitions Mudbath and DEK Technologies.

Mudbath founder Josh Doolan has become Endava’s Australia managing director, leading business direction and growth in the region. He enters into the role with 15 years of experience in roles at a number of technology companies, including Ziller, Wiliam and Scrypt Ventures, and takes over while the previous Australian managing director, Steve Harding, returns to London to head up the company’s mergers and acquisitions more widely.

Claire Dawson has become Endava’s APAC commercial director, a new role for the developer. She comes in with roughly 15 years of experience previously working for Mudbath, WPP, Razorfish, Sensis/Telstra Media and TAFE NSW as a consultant.

Rounding out the appointments is DEK Technologies founder Drini Mulla, who will now be Endava’s lead of embedded technologies after being with the hardware and software engineering company since 1999.

Doolan said the integrations and appointments mark a “significant step” for the business in Australia and APAC.

“Endava is poised not just for growth but for meaningful impact. By integrating Mudbath and DEK Technologies, we harness the unique strengths and cultures of our acquisitions to drive socioeconomic progress and industry transformation,” he said.

“Our strategy not only diversifies our capabilities but also positions us to excel in the next wave of digital transformation, driven by AI and other cutting-edge technologies. With our ability to innovate and modernise core enterprise systems, we ensure that our clients can fully leverage these technologies, delivering significant business benefits and maintaining our competitive edge in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.”

To support the integrations, Endava added it has consolidated offices in Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The software developer previously acquired Mudbath in May 2023, as well as DEK Technologies a month later.
