Cyber security Sekuro specialist has launched a managed extended detection and response (XDR) platform, offering sovereign architecture and adaptive intelligence.

The service, named the Sovereign LogScale Adaptive Security Platform, is powered by CrowdStrike’s Falcon LogScale, which is the vendor’s security information and event management (SIEM) and log management product, and Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) solutions.

Brodie Downes, director of managed services at Sekuro, said the platform is “exactly what we always needed but could never get in the past” and takes a “novel” approach to traditional security operations problems, incorporates human-driven threat intelligence and uses artificial intelligence (AI).

The specialist also claimed the offering contains data independence and is designed to be deployed and contained within any in-country instance of AWS, with the latter ensuring reduced latency for “swift threat detection, incident response and data analysis”.

Michael Sentonas, CrowdStrike president, added that the vendor’s core mission of stopping breaches aligns with Sekuro’s “dedication to assist organisations of all sizes to improve cyber security”.

Sekuro’s managed XDR platform launch comes over a week after it hired Scott Waters as a security advisor to the federal government. In the brand new position for the specialist, Waters will focus on enhancing resilience within federal agencies, particularly in critical infrastructure.
