On the cusp of marking a decade in business, InfoTrust specialises in assurance, governance, risk, compliance (GRC) and managed security services. Both InfoTrust co-founders Simon McKay and Dane Meah will join the Spirit board. InfoTrust and Intalock will combine under Spirit’s cyber arm with 110 cyber security specialists servicing more than 600 customers. The integration of Spirit and InfoTrust will result in a comprehensive suite of cyber security solutions, offering threat management and compliance solutions with access to a security operations centre (SOC), as well as offensive security and incident response services. “This strategic acquisition aligns with our vision of becoming the go-to cyber security partner in Australia,” Spirit Group CEO and managing director Julian Challingsworth said. “By combining our SOC capabilities with InfoTrust’s Assurance, GRC and product focus, we are positioned to deliver a completed and robust cyber security solution set that enables our clients to build robust defences against a cyber-attack and respond quickly to threats and attacks which are becoming more prevalent.” InfoTrust co-founder and CEO Simon McKay said the merger combines Intalock’s managed security services with InfoTrust’s GRC, penetration testing and technology expertise and enables the business to scale and deliver a set of solutions to its clients. Co-founder and director of InfoTrust Dane Meah added he was “incredibly proud of what we’ve built at InfoTrust over the past 10 years”. “The business has never been in better shape achieving record growth over the past two years, thanks to the hard work of Simon and the whole team,” Meah said. “Integrating InfoTrust with Spirit provides a platform to create an incredible cyber security powerhouse for many years to come. The best days are ahead and we’re excited for what the future holds.” Related content news Cloudflare recognises top APAC partner talent at Partner Awards The Missing Link Security, NTT Australia and Dicker Data all took home wins.
