Cyber security software vendor Rapid7 has recognised five Australian partners at its Partner of the Year Awards 2024.

Rapid7 recognised 22 partners across eight categories in three major geographic regions, of which five are located in Australia.

Sydney-based The Missing Link was named as Rapid7 Partner of the Year for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).

“Our partnership with Rapid7 has been instrumental in enabling us to deliver cutting-edge cyber security solutions tailored to the unique needs of organisations across the Asia Pacific region,” said Aaron Bailey, COO at The Missing Link.

“This recognition motivates us to continue pushing the boundaries of cyber security excellence and reinforces our position as a trusted partner in safeguarding businesses against emerging threats.”

Canberra’s DGplex was named as APJ Cloud Security Partner of the Year for the the second year in a row.

Meanwhile, Telstra gained Detection and Response Partner of the Year.

Orro Group won Vulnerability Management Partner of the Year. Its director of cyber security and customer success, Nick Long, said the award “motivates us to keep pushing boundaries and reaching new heights together”.

“Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue building on this incredible partnership and create even more groundbreaking solutions that benefit our customers and the industry as a whole,” he added.

Additionally, Sydney-based Cythera won MSSP Partner of the Year.

“With cyber threats multiplying and evolving every day, Rapid7 partnerships are critical in helping organisations reduce risk and stay ahead of attackers,” said Anita Moorhouse, director of APJ channel sales at Rapid7.

“Partnerships extend our reach, ensuring that more organisations are digitally secure and able to take command of their attack surface by anticipating, pinpointing, and acting on any threat that comes their way. We are pleased to recognise our partners’ valuable contributions in A/NZ [Australia and New Zealand], the greater APJ region and around the world.”

Moorhouse was hired as Rapid7 partner director for APJ last year, joining from Qualtrics.
