Cote joins former ServiceNow A/NZ managing director Eric Swift, who will now serve as Zscaler area vice president A/NZ. The cloud security vendor has also appointed Ben Graetz as A/NZ vice president of business operations. “We’re thrilled to welcome Eric, Ben and Charlie to Zscaler to strengthen our team and capabilities in A/NZ,” said Andreas Hartl, senior vice president of Zscaler Asia Pacific and Japan. “We have a great opportunity in the region to build the Zero Trust momentum and empower our customers to combat the evolving threat landscape we’ve been experiencing in the past few years. With advancements in artificial intelligence, data and automation and an increase in sophisticated attacks we need to build our customers’ resilience to cyber threats and accelerate their digital transformation initiatives.” Previously at Hyperscience, Cote will now have the title of Zscaler A/NZ channel and alliances lead and will be focused on strengthening the channel ecosystem and partner capabilities. Meanwhile, Swift will now support Zscaler’s customers in implementing security measures to address evolving security threats. Graetz also joins Zscaler from ServiceNow, coming into his role with 20 twenty years of experience in leadership, sales, strategy, product management and operational functions in the technology sector. “Their leadership, experience and vision will be instrumental in accelerating Zscaler’s ongoing mission to protect A/NZ organisations against an ever-evolving threat landscape,” the vendor said. At the end of last year, Westcon-Comstor extended its ASEAN partnership with Zscaler into the A/NZ market.
