Takes over the role from A/NZ channel sales manager Paulette Mahoney. Credit: Rachna Kumar (ExtraHop) Network detection and response solutions vendor ExtraHop has hired former Fortinet channel account manager Rachna Kumar as its senior channel manager for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ). Kumar will be tasked with managing the vendor’s channel and managed security service provider business from Melbourne, including sales and solutions strategies and market development. She is also responsible for developing all alliance, reseller, technology and partnership initiatives. Kumar takes over the role from A/NZ channel sales manager Paulette Mahoney, who left the company in the last quarter of 2023. She enters the role with over 15 years of experience in the IT channel, with the last five and a half years spent at Fortinet. Prior to this, she also worked at Trend Micro and Distribution Central. ExtraHop A/NZ area VP Simon Howe, who joined the vendor in April, said Kumar’s appointment would improve the company’s “commitment to guiding companies through strategic cyber security transformation”.
