Migrating its private cloud to Azure and an on-premises solution to Microsoft 365. Credit: Christopher Thomas (Interactive) Interactive has modernised insurer Ansvar with multiple migrations to Microsoft-based technologies, including Azure, as well as a cyber security uplift. The pair have worked together since 2016 and recent growth experienced by the insurer has brought on the need for increased operational demands, Interactive said. One plan to meet this demand is with a migration from Ansvar’s existing private cloud to Azure, which started this year after the insurer worked with Interactive to identify a cloud that would meet their needs. The process is expected to finish sometime after the start of the upcoming financial year. Additionally, the insurer also decided to migrate to Microsoft 365 and taking up Teams, Outlook and other filesharing tools, moving away from an on-premises solution, in order to improve collaboration, productivity, security, scalability and cost savings. This process began at the start of 2023 and finished later that year. Other than its take up of Microsoft solutions, Ansvar also decided to go for a cyber security uplift, which has already begun and is expected to be finished sometime after the start of the next financial year. “Ansvar takes a rigorous approach to risk management, and so we find that our goals are aligned, particularly when it comes to ensuring security is at the core of innovation and our modernisation efforts,” said Christopher Thomas, Interactive account executive. As a result of the ongoing work by Interactive, the service provider claimed Ansvar is able to manage its growing workforce, maintain uninterrupted critical information flow, enhance service quality and simplify administrative tasks, focusing on core business activities.
