Credit: Simon McKay (InfoTrust and Intalock) Simon McKay has been appointed as the CEO of Spirit’s cyber security businesses Intalock Cyber Security and InfoTrust. He will be responsible for leading the two MSSP brands in the Australian market. McKay was the co-founder and managing director of InfoTrust, which merged with Spirit Technologies in February, creating an MSSP powerhouse spanning industries and boasting expertise across the full scope of cyber security managed service solutions. Since the merger, McKay has been exploring synergies between the companies, highlighting complementary talent skill sets and uncovering potential scope to uplift and reinforce the existing set of product solutions. “As a combined entity, we have circa 110 cyber experts with the opportunity now to build on what is already a world class cyber capability,” McKay said. “We have a raft of new solutions and services in the pipeline, we’ve become one of the largest partners to a number of our vendors and our mission is to create one of the most robust and comprehensive cyber businesses in Australia.” The growing demand for both defensive and offensive security capabilities is set to fuel the next wave of expansion for Spirit’s cyber brands. “Simon brings an energy and enthusiasm that will drive our rapid expansion in the cyber security industry,” Spirit Group managing director Julian Challingsworth said. “He is a proven business leader who has grown InfoTrust to stand out as a leading technology brand and I have been instantly impressed by the depth of his knowledge and ambition to deliver exceptional service to our growing client base.” Related content news Cloudflare recognises top APAC partner talent at Partner Awards The Missing Link Security, NTT Australia and Dicker Data all took home wins.
