Under the deal, partners will be able to leverage OtterBox’s range of phone cases, which include Apple iPhones, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices, as well as other devices like Apple’s iPad models and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G. Thomas Tapsas, Synnex director of channel sales, said partnering with OtterBox will allow the distributor to expand its reach. Alan Rector, regional sales director for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) at OtterBox, added the partnership is expected to bring new opportunities to the vendor, specifically in the “fast-growing market segment of commercial sales verticals. “We look forward to bringing more products to businesses and consumers in partnership with the team at Synnex,” he added. OtterBox’s solutions come in four primary options: Symmetry, Commuter, Defender and Fre. Synnex’s partnership with OtterBox comes months after it expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud in April through the integration of the Google Cloud Security portfolio for Australia and New Zealand.
