Credit: James Lewis (Cevo) | Supplied AWS Advanced consulting partner Cevo has inked a strategic three-year, multi-million dollar collaboration agreement (SCA) with AWS. Part of the deal will see Cevo strengthen its core practice areas of modernisation, data and artificial intellignece (AI) and advisory services, in addition to industry-specific competencies across financial services and retail, including technical expertise with a focus on data and security. “This SCA further enhances our deep collaboration with AWS, allowing Cevo to take a major step towards helping customers build and optimise on the cloud and AI faster to drive industry innovation,” Cevo CEO James Lewis said. “Through the agreement, AWS will help us scale our already fast-growing business three-fold in three years and comes as the result of working closely with AWS since 2016 to deliver value for our joint customers by leveraging cloud and AI technologies.” Commencing in February, the collaboration will help Cevo to further develop its go-to-market strategy, Cevo Nexus, which aims to accelerate digital transformation for organisations in regulated markets like financial services, utilities and the public sector. One of the solution offerings, Launch allows Cevo customers to establish a well-architected AWS landing zone aligned to industry regulations and compliance requirements. Meanwhile, its Insights and Intelligence products help customers build a modern data platform and leverage AI and generative AI technologies. The SCA also includes joint investment in training to enhance Cevo employees’ AWS cloud skills and capabilities and maintain proficiency across the business’ core practices. Cevo aims to develop and expand its local technical talent while reinforcing its commitment to fostering a skilled workforce by adopting programs like AWS Skill Builder, which has more than 700 online training lessons to helps users improve their skills in the vendor’s technology and obtain certifications. AWS Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) head of software Sarah Bassett said the SCA will see the two organisations come together to accelerate the adoption of cloud-enabled technologies including AI and generative AI to drive industry-focused outcomes and enable customers to maximise efficiencies, productivity and accelerate innovation. Cevo has worked with over 200 organisations in A/NZ, counting AMP and David Jones, government agencies and start-ups such as Fiduciary Financial Services as customers.
