Intelliworx has strengthened its local presence with two new appointments, promoting Blake Jeffery to general manager of Australia and Joshua Paulus as head of security and identity.

Jeffery will report to managing director Shane Maher, overseeing Australian operations, strategy and interdepartmental collaboration. In the position, Jeffery provides advice and support for team optimisation, maintaining and strengthening relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for new partnerships.

Jeffery has spent three years at Intelliworx and was previously the general manager of security and identity. Prior to this, he worked at The Missing Link, Hillsong Church, Prodigy Communications and Apple.

Joshua Paulus has been with Intelliworx for two years, stepping up from his previous position of security and identity lead for Australia. His new duties see him direct and coordinate security teams both in Australia and Manila.

Additionally, he is also tasked with protecting client information and technology assets, cyber security strategy and overseeing continuous improvement practices.

Prior to his time at Intelliworx, Paulus also worked at Hillsong.

This is the first time Intelliworx has appointed a “recent cyber security leader to oversee all Australian operations”, according to the provider, claiming that “Tier-1 expertise is now indispensable for technology strategy”.

“At Intelliworx, we pick the best solution. Our global customers are asking cyber security questions with every conversation about their technology strategy and spend,” said Maher. “It is essential that the leaders of high-quality technology consultants can place cyber security right at the centre of conversations with the customer and to do that you need the most experienced leadership.

“Both Blake and Josh have shown extraordinary leadership in their previous roles making security and identity management foundational to our customer service and business continuity plans. This is why I’m so excited to see them step up into some of the highest leadership roles we have in the company as we accelerate expansion with our target markets.”

The new promotions come months after Intelliworx joined video device vendor Neat’s partner program in February, which saw it expand its remote working offerings.
