Kaseya has launched its managed services provider training and mentoring group TruPeer in Australia.

The program, which formed out of its acquisition of TruMethods in 2021, will act as a peer group for Kaseya managed service providers (MSP), bringing them together on a regular basis.

According to Kaseya, TruPeer members will have access to quarterly in-person and virtual peer meetings with other MSPs, alongside bi-weekly “accountability”.

TruPeer will also offer webinars, coaching and training material covering topics including profitability, scalability and company value, as well as sales, packaging and pricing.

Running the program locally is former Virtual IT Group CEO Daniel Garcia, who has joined Kaseya, and is overseen by TruMethods president Gary Pica and Kaseya executive VP of the channel Dan Tomaszewski.

Garcia will now hold the title of senior director of TruPeer Asia Pacific. He spent almost seven years with VITG and was at its helm when Kaseya awarded it MSP of the Year award at its annual partner awards twice — once in 2019 and again in 2023.

TruPeer is already active in the US and Europe. Kaseya claimed the program helps participating MSPs increase their monthly recurring revenue, “boost client satisfaction and add new customers at a predictable rate”.

“The TruPeer community in the US has been run by Kaseya since 2021 and has grown exponentially to 400 members,” the company claimed.

“Kaseya is now responding to strong demand from [its] partners by expanding the program to Australia.”

Last year, Kaseya announced its acquisition of Datto in a US$6.2 billion deal funded by private equity.
